Industry Partner: Tenneco

Every year we look forward to the industry sponsored Tenneco competition, where industrial design, engineering and business students have the opportunity to design and pitch a new product using a material manufactured by Tenneco. This is just one of the many examples of Nexus Learning at Jefferson.

Nexus Projects

Each year, interdisciplinary groups of students work together to participate in the Federal Mogul Industry Challenge to envision a new product and develop a production and business strategy. The annual competition challenges teams of students from business, design and engineering to brainstorm and develop a new product using Quietshield noise suppression material introduced by Federal Mogul. In the past, winning teams have created consumer products, discovered various industrial applications and more.
