The Office of the Vice President for Research leads intellectual initiatives and provides services to enhance the academic research environment across all six schools in the institution, including Jefferson Medical College, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Health Professions, the School of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Population Health.
Theodore F. Taraschi, PhD is responsible for research administration, research integrity and policy throughout the University. He also oversees the Office of Human Research, Office of Technology Transfer, Office of Research Administration, and the Office of Animal Resources. Dr. Taraschi also focuses on strengthening Jefferson's position regionally and nationally in all areas of the biomedical research.
