Graduate Certificate in Public Health

The Certificate in Public Health is especially designed for working professionals in government or private sector health organizations seeking to enhance their knowledge of public health practice. It is also intended for those who are interested in public health but who do not wish to pursue a graduate degree in public health at this time. The 17-credit graduate program covers the five core areas of public health – behavioral and social sciences, biostatistics, environmental health sciences, epidemiology, and public health policy.  All credits earned for the Certificate can be applied to the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program.
