Graduate Certificate in Health Policy

The Certificate in Health Policy is designed for professionals working in all aspects of health care who are seeking to enhance their knowledge of healthcare organization, delivery and financing and wishing to hone the analytical skills necessary to develop and implement health policy.

The Certificate comprises six courses (18 credits), all of which can be applied to the Master of Science in Health Policy (MS- HP) degree program.

Students may start the certificate program in the fall or spring term and proceed at their own pace as long as at least one course is taken each term until completion. The course of study for the certificate can be completed in one to two years.

• Online application and payment of application fee
• Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
• Competency in basic statistics
• Basic knowledge of U.S. economy and U.S. government
• Submission of scores from Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or equivalent graduate level examination (i.e., LSAT, MCAT, etc.) or
  A minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA
• TOEFL scores, if applicable
• Personal statement
• Two letters of recommendation
