Chronic Care Management (MS-CCM)
Program Overview
- The MS-CCM degree program requires completion of 39 credits taken from a roster of 14 three-credit courses, including a capstone project.
- All courses are offered asynchronously online. Upon completion of coursework, students come to campus for a seven-day symposium to present their capstone projects to faculty and fellow students.
- The curriculum stresses competencies in chronic disease prevention and management, health policy, population health management and information systems.
- The capstone project enables students to apply concepts, methods, and theories to problems in actual settings.
- Classes are offered across three 14-week sessions per academic year that begin in September and end by mid-July. Students can begin the program in September or January.
- By taking two courses per term (the maximum number recommended for working adults), students can complete the degree program in six terms or 24 months.
