The use of animals in research is a highly regulated activity. Here at Thomas Jefferson University, the Office of Animal Research and the Office of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) assist the researchers with the tasks necessary to be successful in initiating and conducting animal research.

Below is a list of activities handled by each of the two offices.
