Bariatric Surgery Fellowship
The Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is a one-fellow one-year clinical fellowship in an academic setting. This fellowship prepares the trainee to competently and confidently perform laparoscopic bariatric surgery and all related care. There is ample opportunity to complete clinically based research and publication is encouraged. The fellow also gains an understanding of the process of starting a new bariatric program in an academic or non-academic venue. The ultimate goal is to have the graduate excel in practice in the field of bariatric surgery. The ideal candidate will be someone ready to immerse themselves in training and one who shares the same goal of excellence.
