Research and Clinical Interest
Dr. Gressen is a board-certified radiation oncologist, who specializes in the treatment of lung, prostate, gastrointestinal and skin malignancies. As Director of Lung Cancer Conference at Aria Health, he works closely with his colleagues from radiation oncology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, gastroenterology and radiology utilizing a fully integrated electronic chart and radiographic image review for presentations to help coordinate the best overall management for thoracic malignancies including enrollment in nationally recognized clinical trials. The latest technology is incorporated in treating lung cancer including the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) with respiratory gating for early-stage and medically inoperable lung cancers and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) with MRI integration for solitary brain metastases. Eric's expertise includes the use of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) to treat patients with a variety of conditions including prostate, rectal, and head and neck. He is also certified in the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System at the Rothman Specialty Hospital treating a wide array of malignancies.
Dr. Gressen actively participate in the multidisciplinary breast evaluation clinic and tumor board as well as a multitude of committees at Aria Health including the Peer and Quality Review Committee, Radiation Safety & Isotope Committee, Continuing Medical Education Committee, Peer Review Committee for Quality Assurance and the Performance Improvement Committee.
