Research and Clinical Interests
Guiyun Zhang, MD, PhD, teaches Human Form & Development, Microscopic Anatomy and Neurosciences to medical students at Jefferson Medical College. She is an associate faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy at Jefferson School of Health Professions teaching Advanced Human Anatomy to physical therapy students. Dr. Zhang is devoted to medical education and is creating novel computerized learning tools aiming to provide support and augment medical education. She is also reaching out to the surrounding community, including high school students, to promote interest in medicine and sciences. Previously Dr, Zhang was an established and recognized parasitologist in China with numerous publications in the field of immuno-molecular parasitology.
