Obstetrical emergency drills are run on a regular basis in L&D using the Noelle Simulator. Regular lectures and practice in surgical simulation occurs at the Center as well as off campus animal labs.
Resident Retreat: An annual retreat takes place each summer in which team building (and fun!) is emphasized.
Intern Balint Group: A discussion group with an Associate Dean to discuss patient and professional issues.
Philadelphia OB Society: The Society is active and is staffed by city-wide and Jefferson faculty. Monthly educational dinners and lectures are available and paid for residents. A Resident Education Day occurs each May.
