Research

Each May and June, all senior residents (PGY-3 and PGY-4) present a research project that they are involved with during the academic year. PGY-3s present research they have started, while the PGY-4s present their completed projects. The presentations are modeled on the American Academy of Neurology platform presentation. A faculty panel evaluates the projects, and an award is given to the first place winner.

Residents select a faculty advisor (any staff neurologist or other department attending) and identify a research project early in the PGY-3 year.
