Call: Every fourth night

The affiliate hospital rotations are scheduled to allow the Internal Medicine Resident exposure to the adult inpatient in settings distinct from the tertiary care environment of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

At Methodist Hospital, the residents care for patients in a community hospital. Because of the close relationship between this institution and the University, the faculty who supervise the educational programs and clinical services at Methodist Hospital are also on the teaching staff at Jefferson.

The Wilmington Veteran's Affairs Hospital is another core teaching hospital for our residency program. The location of this institution allows for the unique opportunity for residents to participate in the care of patients in a community Veteran's Hospital.
