The department sponsors fellowship training in chronic pain management, regional anesthesia/acute pain management, and obstetric anesthesia.
Fellows are given a great deal of responsibility for patient care and medical student/resident teaching. In addition, fellows are involved in clinical research projects.
The department sponsors meeting attendance and travel expenses for faculty, residents and fellows when their abstracts are accepted for presentation at national meetings.
