Student Advisory Committee

The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is composed of student representatives across departments and programs within the Jefferson School of Health Professions, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, and School of Population Health. The Student Advisory Committee typically meets monthly from October-April. Student representatives meet with the Assistant Vice President for Student Life and the Director of Student Programs & Leadership to discuss issues of interest to students in the Jefferson Schools. SAC members discuss student life issues and have the opportunity to meet with various student services staff members. Student representatives also assist in the coordination of the annual Winter Social dinner and dance event, and select the faculty recipient of the annual Lindback Award.

Membership is on an annual basis, but there is no limit to the length of time a student may serve on the committee. Students should contact Jennifer M. Gronsky, Director of Student Programs & Leadership, at 215-503-8189 or via email at jennifer.gronsky@jefferson.edu if they are interested in becoming a member.
