Locker Policy

Students who are renting lockers must pay a $10.00 fee to the Office of Student Life.  Students will be eligible to receive a $5.00 refund if they remove all items from their lockers and check out of the locker no later than the last day of their locker term (June 15th).  Students must come to the Office of Student Life, Edison 709, to receive the refund.

The term of locker use begins when the locker is assigned to the student and is effective for a period no greater than twelve months, ending on June 15th of that academic year.  Students have the option to renew their locker for another twelve month period if they notify the Office of Student Life prior to their June 15th end date.  If the student does not check out of their locker nor notify the Office of Student Life that they wish to renew their locker term, on June 15th the Office of Student Life will reclaim the locker, and any remaining items will be disposed of.  Should the student cease to be enrolled in the Jefferson Schools at any point, the locker will immediately revert back to the Office of Student Life.

The Office of Student Life is not responsible for any items stored in lockers, but does reserve the right to enter the locker without notice.  Students are NOT permitted to change the locks used on their locker for any reason without prior written approval from the Office of Student Life.

If you have questions about this policy, you may contact the Office of Student Life at 215-503-8189.

Obtaining a Locker

Each academic year new students may complete a locker reservation at their Orientation program.  Locker assignments will be distributed at the start of the fall semester in September.  Current students that are not already assigned a locker may come to the Office of Student Life, Room 709 in the Edison Building, any time from September-May to obtain a locker rental.  Please note that there are a limited number of lockers.  Locker rentals are subject to availability and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
