Program Requirements
Activities are highly individualized and are tailored to each
individual student's goals and areas of interest. Honors students
are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA and satisfactory progress in
all nursing department courses, and to enroll in Nursing 480: Honors
Project I: Design and Planning Phases (third term / semester and
Nursing 482: Honors Project II: Implementation and Evaluation Phases
(fourth term/semester. Both of these 3 credit courses guide the
honors student through the planning process, initial implementation
stages to project completion and evaluation stages. Key to the
notion of the honors program is close interaction with the honors
coordinators who facilitate the acquisition of resources and promotes
accomplishment of strategies necessary for successful completion
