Clinical Experience
Clinical practicums are the real world training aspects of our programs, offering students four different placements in clinical and research laboratories at prestigious hospitals, clinics and laboratories in and outside the tri-state area.
Types of Clinical Sites: Commercial laboratories, community
hospital and medical center laboratories, biotechnology and pharmaceutical
industry labs, academic research labs.

- State-of-the-art molecular biology instrumentation for PCR, electrophoresis and fingerprinting
- Smart Classrooms
- Shaker incubators and baths to precisely control temperature and agitation of cells
- Autoclave (pressurized steam sterilization unit)
- Digital imaging systems enabling students to take picturesand analyze DNA gels, cytology and biopsy specimens or blood specimens
