ESL Classes at Jefferson!

Jeff-at-Night offers a Certificate of Proficiency in English as a Second Language (ESL).  Classes are offered in the introductory, intermediate and advanced levels in speaking/listening and reading/writing.  Eligible Jefferson employees can use their tuition benefit to take these classes.

A placement test, which takes approximately two hours to complete, evaluates speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Space permitting, spouses of Jefferson employees  may also enroll in an ESL class for non-credit for a fee of $300.

Registration for the placement test is required.  To register, contact Jeff-at-Night at 215-503-8414 or jeff-at-night@jefferson.edu.  Upon registration students will be sent a confirmation email indicating the test location.
