At Jefferson, your studies are focused on the art and science of healthcare, balancing hands-on learning with lectures and textbooks. We are one of only a few universities in the nation classified as academic health centers. Our distinctive combination of curriculum, learning resources, faculty, facilities, career counseling, and job placement assistance means you'll be well prepared for success in nursing and the allied health professions.

Jefferson College of Health Professions (JCHP) is primarily an upper-division transfer institution. Most JCHP students begin their studies at Jefferson as juniors after completing approximately two years of prerequisite coursework at another accredited college or university.  We also offer associate degree programs in nursing (ASN) and the associate degree in emergency medical services which do not require prerequisite coursework.
