IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING YOUR DEFINED CONTRIBUTION RETIREMENT PLANS - Update 1/16/13

As you know, several enhancements to the Jefferson Defined Contribution Retirement Plans have become effective November 1, 2012.

To Get The Most Out Of Your Retirement Program:

  • Read the communications mailed to your home

  • Visit tiaa-cref.org/Jefferson for extensive plan information

  • Contact TIAA-CREF at 1-800-842-2252 (follow phone menu or press “0” for live voice),
    Monday-Friday from 8am to 10pm and Saturday from 9am to 6pm (ET)

  • Contact TIAA-CREF at 1-800-732-8353, Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm (ET) or visit www.tiaa-cref.org/schedulenow  to schedule a one-to-one on-site counseling session (telephone sessions are also available)

Pension Plan Participants

Consolidated plan administration services are provided by Aon Hewitt, a leader in the field of benefits administration to Participants in Thomas Jefferson University Employees’ Pension Plan and Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. Employees’ Pension Plan (including TJUH-Methodist Hospital Division).

Services include the added convenience of an integrated Web site at http://www.yourbenefitresources.com/jeffersonretirement and a team of customer service representatives at 1-855-354-6942 to help you better manage your benefits. The Your Pension Resource™ Web site, managed by Aon Hewitt, is your one-stop shop for information about your pension benefits.

You can access the Your Pension Resources™ Web site from any computer with Internet access. Just visit http://www.yourbenefitresources.com/jeffersonretirement to get started. If you are accessing the site for the first time, click “Register as a New User”. You'll be prompted to set up your user profile by entering identifying information in order to access the site. Once you're registered and have a User ID and Password, the next time you visit the Your Pension Resources™ Web site, you'll simply enter them to sign in. The Web site is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except for periodic system maintenance).

Features include projecting pension benefits using various assumptions, accessing trained retirement specialists for assistance, and commencing pension benefits.

If you need help using the Web site or have questions, call Your Pension Resources™ at 1-855-354-6942 to speak with a customer service representative. Representatives will be available between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
