Welcome to the Farber Institute for Neurosciences at Thomas Jefferson University.The Farber Institute was established with a generous gift from Vickie and Jack Farber (pictured to the right) of the Farber Family Foundation, Inc, and opened its doors early in 2002. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Farber Institute, we are hosting a scientific symposium at Jefferson on April 18th, 2012 entitled "Understanding fundamental mechanisms of neurological disorders". The stellar lineup of speakers includes Jefferson’s own Matthew Dalva, Kimberly Huber (University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center), Len Kaczmarek (Yale University), Virginia Lee (University of Pennsylvania) and Greg Petsko (Brandeis University).
